Another March has come and gone and the fishing was excellent.  The weather this March made it a little tough to fish as much as we would have liked but there's nothing we can do about mother nature.  As usual, the Sheepshead showed up for their annual aggregations and gave our anglers plenty of action.  The Sheepshead should continue to get better right into April and start to fizzle out around the end of April.  Not only did we fish inshore but we were able to get out into the Gulf a couple times this month.  We had good luck on Big Redfish and Triggerfish!!!  The Redfish bite will continue to get better and better as it warms up.  The only difference is, instead of Big Bull Redfish in the Gulf and Pensacola Bay, it will become a shallow water and dock fishing game.  The other thing I want to mention is the Triggerfish.  These are my favorite fish to target and eat.  I was fortunate enough to get to go out with my wife and catch a few this month.  Not only did we catch our limit, but I was lucky enough to catch this MONSTER!!! She was just over 10 lbs and tasty on the dinner plate!!!  That's it for now. I'm looking forward to see what April brings for us at Tradition Fishing Charters.  If you're heading down to Pensacola, Perdido Key, Orange Beach or Gulf Shores over the next few months; give us a call.  We would love to get you out on the water!!!

Until Next Time,

Capt. Miles
